Recently Korea showed the signs of a strong economy with sophisticated communications networks (e.g., broadband network services, wireless telecommunications networks): a growing connecti-vity across regions through networks becomes a crucial factor in determining the performance of the Korean economy. This study develops a multi-region model that captures the role of communications networks in enhancing interregional trade in intermediate business services.
